Great work with the leather! But maybe, for a really dwarfish look, you could add some padding underneath to make your arms look broader. Looking dwarfish - it's all about looking broad. 
Your hands are a little to slight, too. You could add a pair of leather gloves, mayber some that don't cover your fingertips. If it's just all about the bracers and not about a composite costume just ignore what I said.
